ARL Mission Statement:
Animal Rescue League is an organization of people dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of domestic and feral animals, as well as educating the public about the responsibilities of animal care to further develop public awareness regarding care, conservation and the human-animal bond within the community.

ARL has developed an adoption process with 3 specific goals in mind:

  • Aid in the prevention of animal overpopulation
  • Deter animal abandonment & acts of cruelty, and
  • Promote pet education

Each animal received into ARL’s care undergoes a medical evaluation upon arrival. Our animals are given physical exams to determine wellness, are spayed or neutered (depending on sex) and micro-chipped for their safety.

In addition, ARL provides the following tests and treatments for the animals:

  • Feline Leukemia/aids testing (mandatory for felines)
  • Treatment for illness or injuries
  • Treatment for parasites (fleas, worms, etc.)
  • Eye & ear treatment
  • Dental work (if needed)

The Animal Rescue League qualifies for exemption from Federal income tax as a 501(c) (3) humane organization, and contributions are considered fully tax-deductible.
